Sankho Banerjeea is a filmmaker, cultural communicator and creative storyteller whose work spans cinema, music, broadcasting, advertising and healthcare communication. Beginning his creative journey in the mid-1980s, he has written and directed feature films, created music for television and cinema, developed more than 100 advertising jingles, and worked across broadcast and cultural platforms including Doordarshan and All India Radio. His work brings together storytelling, culture and communication—often exploring human relationships, social issues and ideas that connect across communities. Alongside his creative practice, he leads PARSAN, where his experience in healthcare and institutional communication informs a growing focus on public-awareness and social-impact storytelling.
